HOUSTON (AP) — The American City Liberties Union says the Oughout. S. government has released with her family a 10-year-old girl along with cerebral palsy who was detained simply by border agents after surgery since she is in the U. S. with no legal permission.

The ACLU and U. S i9000. Rep. Joaquin Castro said within statements Friday that Rosa Nancy Hernandez was released. An activist with all the Workers Defense Action Fund furthermore confirmed her release.

The ACLU sued the government on Rosa Maria’s behalf on Oct. 31, times after she and an adult aunty were followed by Border Patrol to some children’s hospital.

The Border Patrol said it had to detain Rosa Maria because she passed through an inside checkpoint in South Texas without having her parents, who brought the girl to the U. S. from South america in 2007.
