The U. S. Olympic Committee still plans on bringing groups to the Pyeongchang Games in Feb despite U. N. Ambassador Nikki Haley casting doubt on Oughout. S. participation.

In an interview Wed with Fox News Channel, Haley was asked if it’s an open issue about whether the U. S. group will compete at the Olympics within South Korea, given the stress on the Korean Peninsula.

“There’s a question, ” she said. “I have not heard anything about that. Yet I do know that in the talks that we get, whether it’s Jerusalem, whether it’s North Korea, it’s always about, how do we perform protect the U. S. residents in the area. ”

USOC spokesman Indicate Jones released a statement Thursday night in response, saying the committee hadn’t had any discussions, either in house or with government officials, regarding the possibility of not taking teams in order to next year’s Olympics.
