EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota Vikings have activated quarterback Sam Bradford from injured reserve, putting their particular original starter this season on the roster before their first playoff online game.

The Vikings waived tight finish Kyle Carter on Saturday to generate room for Bradford, who final played at Chicago on April. 9 and returned to practice a week ago after recovering from a left leg injury. The Vikings host Brand new Orleans on Sunday.

Bradford has been stellar in the opening win contrary to the Saints, but unable to play the next week. Case Keenum started the following three games. Bradford was back again for the Bears game, but hobbled around in the first half just before being pulled for Keenum.

Teddy Bridgewater and Kyle Sloter provide the Vikings four quarterbacks on the energetic roster.
